The Archbishop of Mbarara Archdiocese, His Grace Lambert Beinomugisha, has urged the newly ordained priests to be missionaries and represent the faith of the Christians of their respective dioceses. Archbishop, Beinomugisha made the call on Sunday, as he ordained four priests at our Lady of good council-Rushoroza cathedral in Kabale diocese. The ordination, which attracted thousands of Christians, including over 200 priests, religious and politicians from Kigezi Sub region started with a procession, with parents of the deacons, leading them onto the alter. Those ordained priests include, Dr Davis Ahimbisiibwe, Crescent Niwamanya both from Rushoroza Parish, Fabias Ariganyira from Christ the King Parish Kabale and Henry Moses Ariho from Kitanga Parish in Rukiga District. Preaching during the mass, His Grace Lambert Beinomugisha said that the ordination coincided with the mission Sunday occurred for Kabale Diocese and thereby urging the newly ordained priests to go out and represent the faith of the Christians of Kabale diocese. He noted that the ordination of the priests represents the generosity of the Christians of Kabale Diocese, who allowed their sons to join priesthood and go to serve mankind The chief guest at the function, the Minister of Information Communication Technology and National guidance, Dr Chris Baryomunsi, congratulated the ordained priests upon this milestone of priesthood. He also hailed their parents for nurturing their children and allowing them to join priesthood saying they will bring the blessing in their families. END
