The most important part of my new garden is that I must have a parking space. There are a few considerations that I made when creating this element: 1. With the amount of precipitation in this area, I want to have good drainage. I also don’t want water to run off to one area causing any flooding/puddle issues. 2. While concrete would is great for durability and looks clean, I felt like I wanted to have a more “natural” feel. Plus, cement in concrete uses a lot of energy to produce. I thought it would be good to find an alternative that has less impact on the environment. 3. I will most likely incorporate a rock garden in the future design. I want something that will blend well with the design. 4. My budget for this project is 100,000 yen.
