🌟 Korean Salted Bread Recipe 🌟 Hey everyone! Welcome to Joycetobe. Today, I'm super excited to share my journey of making the delicious Korean salted bread that I fell in love with during my trip to Korea. It's surprisingly easy to make, and you'll only need a few simple ingredients. 🥐 Ingredients for 12-14 Salted Butter Rolls 🥐 Dough: 500g Bread Flour 30g Sugar 5g Salt 30g Skim Milk Powder 30g Salted Butter (room temperature) 330ml Water (cold in summer, room temp in winter) Filling Butter: 180g Salted Butter (room temperature, cut into 15g pieces) Making the Dough: 1. In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients and water. 2. Mix on low speed for 1 minute. 3. Add the butter and mix on low for 2 more minutes. 4. Switch to medium speed and mix for 7 minutes until the dough is soft and elastic. 5. While it finishes, prepare the Charged Butter by cutting it into 15g pieces and refrigerating. 6. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it up, and let it rise at room temperature (68°F) for about 90 minutes until doubled. In summer, it’s about 60 minutes; in winter, around 90 minutes. 7. While it rises, prepare the Charged Butter by cutting it into 15g pieces and refrigerating. 8. After rising, divide the dough into 12 pieces (70g each), round them, and cover with plastic for a 20-minute rest. 9. For the 2nd Fermentation, place a bowl of hot water in the oven and let the dough rise for about 60 minutes until doubled. In summer, it’s about 45 minutes; in winter, around 60 minutes. 10. Preheat the oven to 425°F and bake at 392°F for 10-12 minutes. 11. Once baked, brush the tops with melted butter. ------------------ If you love simple, delicious bakes, subscribe and bake with me again soon! 💛 #koreanfood #korea #easyrecipe #homemadebread #baking #bread #dessert #homemade ---------------------------------------------------------------- Who am I?
