Follow this step-by-step method and enjoy homemade crispy samosas just like halwai style. 🟢 Ingredients For Samosa Dough All-purpose flour – 2 cups Salt – ½ tsp Carom seeds (Ajwain) – ½ tsp Oil / Ghee – 4 tbsp Water – as required For Aloo Filling Boiled potatoes – 4 (mashed) Green peas – ½ cup (optional) Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped) Ginger – 1 tsp (grated) Cumin seeds – 1 tsp Coriander powder – 1 tsp Red chili powder – ½ tsp Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp Garam masala – ½ tsp Salt – to taste Fresh coriander leaves – 2 tbsp Oil – 1 tbsp 🟢 Method Step 1: Dough Mix flour, salt, ajwain, and oil. Rub well until crumbly. Add water slowly and make a stiff dough. Cover and rest for 20 minutes. Step 2: Filling Heat oil, add cumin seeds. Add ginger, green chilies, and peas. Add potatoes and all spices. Mix well and cook for 2–3 minutes. Add coriander and cool the mixture. Step 3: Shaping Divide dough into balls, roll into oval shape, cut in half, form cones, and fill with aloo mixture. Seal edges properly. Step 4: Frying Heat oil on low flame. Fry samosas slowly until golden and crispy. Increase flame slightly at the end for extra crunch.
