HCDC Ossett History Exhibition

We are currently running a project at Ossett Academy called The Humanities and Community Development Commission (HCDC) where we are promoting the importance of a strong relationship between our students and the local community. The Academy has chosen to assist on the expansion of the Ossett and Gawthorpe Community Photo Archive, along with being involved in the local History group to add new images and update the pre-existing images of the local area. These photos play a major role in documenting the history of Ossett and give an insight in how Ossett has changed over time. We invite all to attend the exhibition and come and learn about the people and places, past and present of Ossett. We hope you can come and be a part of this exhibition and hope you can take something from this experience. The Academy’s exhibition of Ossett’s past and present will be held on the 25th February 2015 from 5.30pm to 8pm. The Project Managers keynote address will be at 5.45pm. Goody bags will be available for guests on a first-come-first-served basis, and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
