A kiddish is a social gathering that takes place on a Saturday afternoon right after everyone gets out of synagogue. It’s a time to mingle and eat some yummy food and drinks. This week we hosted our first kiddish and it went SO well. #kiddish #kosherfood #entertaining Mini Lotus Cups: 2 small whipping creams 1/4 cup of sugar 1 toffuti cream cheese Cholent: 1 and a 1/2 cups Cholent mix 1/2 cup of barley Grated apple, carrot, tomato and onion Salt Paprika Hot paprika 1 tbsp salt 1 tbsp consome 1 small can of tomato sauce 2-3 lamb steaks Pastrami Pizza: Sauté onion and pastrami. Add BBQ sauce and let mixture brown. To assemble: on a pizza crust add spicy mayo, then pastrami mixture.
