Sonia Gandhi, Rahul to Appear in Court in National Herald Case

Delhi High Court refused to quash the trial court’s summons issued to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald Case. Justice Sunil Gaur dismissed their pleas which means they will have to appear before the trial court in the case tomorrow. The Gandhis are also expected to move the Supreme Court challenging the HC order. BJP member Subramanian Swamy had filed a case against the the duo, accusing them of cheating and misappropriating funds in the acquisition of National Herald, a newspaper which is now defunct.
