Optional: pinch of turmeric for color Optional: add 1/2 tsp. salt (after tasting) if you think it needs a bit more saltiness 4 TBL tapioca starch (1/3 cup will give an even thicker, stretchier texture) Directions: Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the cauliflower & onion and boil until softened (about 8-10 minutes). Drain the water and let the cauliflower mixture cool. Blend cauliflower, onion and all remaining ingredients together until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. I have started adding the tapioca starch after I blend and taste, because I found the tapioca starch can get in the way of my tasting and adjusting. Then, heat the sauce on medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring continuously, until it thickens.
