Tornado Springs is one of Paultons Park’s most detailed and immersive lands, themed around a 1950s American Midwest town hit by constant storms and twisters. Opened in 2021, the area features a mix of thrilling and family-friendly rides, including Storm Chaser, a spinning coaster by Mack Rides, the powerful Cyclonator gyro swing, Windmill Towers double family drop towers, and Buffalo Falls, a water-based family flume. Guests can also enjoy Farmyard Flyers, Al’s Auto Academy, Trekking Tractors, Rio Grande Train, Junkyard Junction, and Parking Lot Tots play areas, alongside themed shops and diners that bring the golden age of Americana to life. During the Halloween Spooktacular, Tornado Springs is transformed with thousands of pumpkins, glowing lanterns, eerie lights, and seasonal displays that fill the streets with spooky charm. After dark, the land takes on a completely new atmosphere as rides illuminate the skyline and the twisters swirl beneath the night lights. The event also includes themed entertainment, Halloween shows, and opportunities to meet costumed characters throughout the park, making it one of the most popular seasonal events in the UK. Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, is home to over 70 rides and attractions across themed lands, including Peppa Pig World, Lost Kingdom, and Critter Creek. In May 2025, the park introduced Ghostly Manor, an all-new haunted dark ride where guests use Phantom Phasers to capture escaped ghosts inside Kinley Manor. This interactive attraction combines physical sets and projection effects in the world’s first Gameplay Theater dark ride. Looking ahead, 2026 will see the opening of Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, featuring three new rides—Drakon, a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter coaster; Raven, a high-speed family coaster; and the UK’s first Wild Swing ride. This major expansion will also include a Viking-themed playground, restaurant, and immersive Nordic theming.
