System Electric Hand Digital Twin features the Digital Twin control system with one digital and one double channel control mode. The desired control mode is selected via the integrated function plug. The Digital Twin Hand has two control variants. In addition to the operation with two electrodes for opening and closing the hand, control with only one electrode is also possible, for example in the case of difficult residual limb conditions. System Electric Hand DMC plus stands for Dynamic Mode Control. With the DMC control, two independent measuring and control systems proportionally regulate the gripping speed and gripping force at all opening widths. The gripping speed and gripping force are directly determined by the intensity of the muscle signal. The DMC plus control system has a DMC and DMC plus control mode. In the DMC plus control mode a higher signal is required to open the hand with maximum gripping force after a single grip. This reduces the risk of the user opening the hand with unintended muscle signals. The SensorHand Speed helps to keep everything under control. The SensorHand Speed opens and closes more than twice as fast as other electric hands. And it is exceptionally easy and precise to control: Thanks to new intelligent software and modified signal processing. In addition, the unique grip stabilization system with SUVA* sensor technology prevents objects from slipping and falling out of the hand due to carelessness. The MyoHand VariPlus Speed combines the mechanical properties of the SensorHand Speed and the control variants of the System Electric Greifer DMC VariPlus. Due to the high gripping force (approx. 100 N) and speed (up to 300 mm/s), objects can be gripped precisely and quickly. The elimination of the thumb sensor enables the user to grip actively and consciously. Objects must be fixed and positioned specifically by muscle signals, as the electronics of the electric hand do not automatically readjust the gripping force. Myoelectric is the technical term for the electrical voltage generated in muscle cells in the microvolt range, which can be measured on the skin surface and used via electrodes to control prostheses.
