Searching for GIANT Cottonmouth in the wild!

I heard many "tales" from locals in a small town in the Southeastern United States about the Cottonmouth in the area. They told stories of Cottonmouth large enough to swallow dogs, as big as Anacondas and so aggressive that they would let hunters enter the territory but surround them and they would have to shoot their way out! I knew these were obviously exaggerated folk tales but wanted to see if I could figure out why this particular population of Cottonmouth (that we dubbed the name Cottoncondas) were so infamous. While a lot of this video is satire, I always encourage everyone to admire all wildlife from a safe distance. I have worked with venomous reptiles most of my life and understand that interacting with these animals puts me at a much higher risk of an accidental envenomation. Fatalities from snake bite are extremely rare in the USA but can be very serious and medically significant. I hope my videos may help others understand that snakes, even the venomous ones, are not the vicious, man-hunting killers they've been portrayed to be. Thanks for watching!
