Brief Description of The No Backswing Backswing. The No Backswing Backswing is the fourth in the Get Fixed - Draw Sequence videos for aspiring Lawn Bowlers. For many years coaches have been pushing the pendular movement in their programs. Admittedly, during the first rewrites of the Level 1 Technical Lawn Bowls Manuals we kept the pendular movement in the program. It was not long, however, that we found a better way - and you may be shocked to see how wrong we were at the time about the pendulum! In this video The Delivery Doctor will demonstrate just how many problems bowlers can find themselves in by using the pendular motion in their deliveries. From misalignment at the moment of release, to introduction of steeper angles during the swing, to the ensuing abbreviated follow throughs - they all lead to inconsistencies that result in failure.
