In just four days, the city has been hit with a total of 72.4 cm of snow, turning streets into winter battlegrounds and shattering expectations. What makes this even more remarkable? Each of the two storms alone ranks among the most significant snowfalls recorded at Montreal's airport since 1942. With plows working around the clock and residents digging their way out, this historic snowfall has etched its place in the city's winter legacy. It is 12:10 pm and the temperature is -10°C / 14°F. En seulement quatre jours, la ville a été frappée par un total de 72,4 cm de neige, transformant les rues en champs de bataille hivernaux et brisant les attentes. Qu'est-ce qui rend ce résultat encore plus remarquable ? Chacune des deux tempêtes compte à elle seule parmi les chutes de neige les plus importantes enregistrées à l'aéroport de Montréal depuis 1942. Avec des déneigeuses travaillant 24 heures sur 24 et des résidents creusant pour se frayer un chemin vers l'extérieur, cette chute de neige historique a gravé sa place dans l'héritage hivernal de la ville.
