Come, Follow Me Deep Dive (Old Testament 2026) | Week 6 — Moses 7 | Zion, Divine Weeping, and the Son of Man Moses 7 is not simply a “story about Enoch.” It’s compressed prophetic theology—moving from prophetic commissioning, to Zion as a covenant society, to the shocking image of a God who weeps, to the Son of Man, the Flood, the Crucifixion, spirit prison, last-days restoration, and the reunion of two Zions. This video is a deep dive discussion designed to go beyond surface readings and engage Moses 7’s literary structure, ancient parallels (including Enochic literature), doctrinal claims, and interpretive issues. Discussion Questions Where do you see Moses 7 defining Zion as a lived society, not just an ideal? What do you think Moses 7 is doing theologically by portraying divine weeping? What does “one heart and one mind” demand in real practice, not slogans? Sections Intro: Moses 7 as “theological architecture” Part 1 — Literary framework and structure (including covenant lawsuit / rîb) Part 2 — Prophetic call and transfiguration (Mahujah, Mount Simeon, temple ascent motifs) Part 3 — Vision of peoples (Canaan vs. seed of Cain; “blackness” language; responsible interpretation) Part 4 — The power of Enoch’s word (language as covenant authority) Part 5 — The grand vision (chiastic/concentric movement; theological center) Part 6 — God weeps (divine pathos; the weeping chorus: God/heavens/Enoch/earth) Part 7 — Son of Man (atonement arc; crucifixion/resurrection; spirits in prison; enthronement) Part 8 — Last days and Zion’s return (truth from the earth; righteousness from heaven; New Jerusalem) Part 9 — Translation, “bosom” motif, and Zion as a present demand Conclusion — What it means to build Zion now Official Study Links Come, Follow Me Week 6 (Moses 7): https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/s...
