1. Get yourself in the most active alliance in your kingdom! Very important. If you want to grow and get strong enough to win MGE, you need to be in one of the best alliance. Keep an open mind and don't be stuck in the mindset of some people who want to stick with just one alliance even it's a dying one. There is a borderline between Loyalty and stupidity. 2. If you haven't create a farm account yet, you should make at least one now. If you want to win mge, you need to have at least 1 farm account. An active farm account can get you 10+ million points during Kill event. Farm feeding for points is part of the game. You can do it to a certain extend. As long as you don't feed yourself 50m + points, most people won't care. Some kingdom also forbid farm feeding so you gotta check with your kingdom rules. Regardless, having a farm account is a must for f2p players. I myself have 2 farm accounts. They help a lot in war. 3. You need to save your speed up, especially training and universal speed up. You don't want to keep using them every day or every week. You need to save them for a big push for the training stage of the mightiest governor event. That's where you want to get most of your mge points. To do this, you will have to skip on some of the training event. If you don't skip on those events, you won't be able to save lots of speed up. For example, right now we have training event for my kingdom but I'm skipping it because I want to prepare for one of the mightiest governor event. 4. You need to know which mightiest governor event commander you want and prepare at least 3-4 months in advance. You will need longer preparation time if you're in heavy spenders kingdom. Saving rss, saving speed up. You need to know the MGE commander cycles. 4 Julius Caesar - 4 Charles Martel - 4 El Cid - 4 Saladin - 4 Constatine - 4 Tomyris 4 Leo - 4 Artemisia. Each of these cycle is 2 week long. 5. Never ever go for the first cycle of the Mightiest governor commander! Very important. You always want to sit back on the first or even a second one. You want to observe and get an idea of how hard other people pushing for the commander. If your kingdom heavy spenders pushing 100-200 million points at training stage, You will probably have to skip the commander completely or you can try to just unlock the commander. 6. Train troops ahead of time use army expansion 7. Know your own strength. Nobody know you better than yourself. I can't tell you how much points you will be able to get. You will have to pull out a calculator to calculate how much points you could possibly get. And then you can decide if you can get top rankings in your kingdom. Participating in a mightiest governor event without knowing how much points you can get ahead of time is a big no. 8. You need to know the most effective ways to get mge points. There are two ways 1. is training lots troops if you have lots of speed up. You get more points per minute speed up use for upgrading troops. So Upgrade your troops during MGE event. 2. Fighting hard during KE. To do this you need to have good commanders. You want to earn points and not feeding points! I fought really hard in one of the mightiest governor event in our last kvk and got lots of points. I would never able to get this much points from training. I had fun fighting and I earn KE points. win win for me :) 9. Avoid going for every freaking mightiest governor event commander. I've seen f2p players from my kingdom participate in every mightiest governor and just end up at rank 50 or lower. Use common sense. Focus on one cycle and go all out. Don't go for every freaking cycle. That's just plain stupid.
