Harry Potter is not the best fiction mankind has ever produced, but it has many beautiful moments, and remains altogether rich in it's imagination. I grew up reading the books and enjoying the movies, so I enjoy often looking back at it's world and story. I was very moved when I heard this beautiful melody by Alexandre Desplat, and wished to play it. Finally got around recording it. Thought it be fitting to upload it around the same time rickman died last year. [Edit: Looking back at this video I do feel like it's biased towards snape (as the title of the piece is after all called 'Lily's Theme', and dramatically she much deserves her own tribute - as a character)]. I've improvised Peder B. Helland's wonderful arrangement for the cover. No sheets are available. PS. Will also be recording Dumbledore's Farewell when i get the time. Thanks for watching.
