At the time she was driving a 1969 Mustang coupe but her dream was to have a 1969 Mach 1. Mary found this Mach 1 body in a junkyard in 1989 and paid $150. She had to track down the owner and paid $200 for the title. It was built with a 351, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and AC. For years it was in her garage. Her family came first, but she would walk by it every day and say “someday you will be restored!” Well someday is happening and it needs a lot of work. We loaned Mary some wheels and tires and she had it towed to GPR. We started taking it apart and ordered a lot of new parts from Dynacorn. We found a lot of rust but a few places you expect to find rust were in good shape so we started with getting the body rust free and lining up the sheet metal. At this time we don’t know what engine and transmission she wants but we do know she wants it bright yellow! Below is a list of just some of the work you’ll see being done in this episode. Hope you enjoy this build, and remember to subscribe to our channel!
