The Sea of Cortez is often called the world’s aquarium — a place where desert and ocean meet, and where life gathers in extraordinary ways. This film was created entirely from field in partnership with Nautilus Liveaboards and Baja Expeditions. The footage was captured across Baja California and the Gulf of California, documenting moments rarely seen together in a single place: whale sharks, mobula rays, blue whales, sperm whales, humpbacks, orcas, and countless other forms of marine life sharing the same waters. Rather than focusing on a single species, this piece explores the rhythm of the ocean itself — from stillness, to movement, and back again. No narration. No script. Just the ocean as it unfolds.
