How many times have you left your house to play PC games? How often have you left the house, where your computer is sitting right there, untouched and pristine, to go play a game on another, publicly available computer, surrounded by other people doing the exact same thing. PC Bangs and Net Cafes were born in the 90s, and in the West, they didn’t escape the ‘90s – much like Tamagotchis, the Virtual Boy and Devil Sticks. But PC Bangs are still going strong in South Korea, out-living any number of high-profile ‘90s failures. And not only that, they’re part of the reason why the region is so much better than us at video games.
