November is Native American Heritage month, so I wanted to explore some Cherokee mythology! I am a little Cherokee! Unfortunately, I have never researched any Cherokee legends. Today as we draw, I am exploring the legend of the Cherokee Corn Mother Selu and her significance. We are also discussing the history of the Cherokee and the Trail of Tears.
