Aogiri High School is a Vtuber group that started back in October 27th 2018, spearheaded by Otodama Tamako and Minazuki Natsuki. Their motto is "Anything goes so long as it's fun!" The original motif of the project was to pretend like the members were all attending the same high school, joining different clubs, etc. and they really did maintain this for the first few years, but these days that's more of a suggestion and all the girls even joke about how their lore as high schoolers has crumbled. ► What type of content does Aogiri produce? Like their motto says, literally anything as long as it's fun. Aogiri's members and management pride themselves on having virtually no limits on what they can produce (besides the law and platform guidelines). There is a main Aogiri channel where they post shorts almost every day with small challenges, skits, etc. along with longer videos every once in a while. Each member also has their own channel where they can do whatever they please, with some channels focusing more on pre-recorded video content, some focusing more on live streams, and some in between. You can find ordinary Vtuber content like gaming, singing, and chit-chatting, but you'll also find irl vlogs, skits, pranks, and even some raunchy stuff. There are also real life concerts and fan meetings once in a blue moon, so you could call them idols if you really squinted. One other thing that sets Aogiri Vtubers apart from the rest of the corporate crowd is that, unlike the typical corporate Vtuber, Aogiri members are allowed to be open about having past lives, what the person inside the vtuber model looks like, and other meta topics that most Vtubers tend to avoid. Some are even okay with showing their real body on camera. Though each member has different boundaries, so never assume! ► How are the members divided? There are no generations/subdivisions at Aogiri. All members, no matter when they join, are considered equal students of Aogiri High School in perpetuity. Though older members are still typically addressed with "senpai" by the younger members out of courtesy. (even though some senpai like Tamako get constantly bullied by everyone) ► Wait, I recognize some of these faces...? A few of the Aogiri members are older Vtubers that later joined the group. These are: Gabu Rieru (formerly indie), Etra (formerly Eilene Family), and Moemi (formerly Eilene Family). ► Where's the Live 2D? There is no 2D to be found here! Ever since Aogiri's inception, every single Vtuber that joined the group has only ever had a fully moving 3D model. This is in part because the original company from where Aogiri spawned from only produced 3D Vtuber content, so when Aogiri was created they only ever had 3D assets, and they just kept the same style until today.
