Indg:(according to your intake) Freshly grated coconut /dessicated coconut dry coconut (grated) onions ginger/garlic Khada garam masala (if available) (ITS OPTIONAL) oil Water (for grinding) Method: Firstly chop onion,ginger and peel garlic and keep aside. Then grate both the coconuts (here if your taking whole freshly grated coconut then take one bowl of dry coconut. Now take kadhai, heat it ,once heated put onion,ginger & garlic and saute it till it becomes brownish put little oil. Now saute dry coconut till brownish dont put oil in it. Now put little bit oil, add freshly grated coconut saute till it becomes brownish. Now put khada garam masala saute it till nice aroma comes,switch off the flame Now while grinding,firstly grind dry coconut without water as it helps to preserve for more days. then grind onion,ginger,garlic and khada masala again without water remove it in the air tight container which you are going to keep in fridge. Then grind freshly grated coconut with water and mix it properly and preserve it. You can use this in every type of usal,amti,chicken & fish curry.
