In the end, the herdsmen prepared a variety of alpine delicacies. The sausage and vegetable stew were delicious, and there were freshly roasted lamb shanks and veal for us. Not only did it let me learn about the way of animal husbandry and grazing in the Pyrenees, but I also ate local delicacies, and it was another happy day in the countryside.
