On day 5 of our Staff Spotlight Series, we meet our new Strings Teaching Artist, Ben Grabell! Originally from New Jersey, Ben holds degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music. As a double bassist, he performs with many orchestras throughout the Midwest, including the Springfield and Richmond Symphonies. Prior to joining the MYCincinnati team, Ben served as orchestra director and lead teacher for the Dayton Philharmonic’s, Q the Music program. 🎶 MYCincinnati teaching artists are professional musicians with a combined 50 years of experience playing in world-renowned orchestras across four continents.
