Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE, OTCQX:EPMLF) has announced the maiden mineral resource estimate for its massive titanium discovery at its Pitfield project in Western Australia. The MRE comes in at 2.2 billion tonnes grading 5.1% titanium dioxide, confirming world-class scale. Managing director Shaun Bunn called Pitfield “a geological wonder” and said work’s now focused on pilot testing and engineering studies. Great Southern Copper PLC (LSE:GSCU) has reported high-grade copper and silver from rock chip samples at its Cerro Negro project in Chile. Grades hit up to 271 grams per tonne silver and 2.05% copper, expanding the Monolith target zone. A second drill rig’s now on site at the nearby Mostaza mine to step up Phase III drilling. Imaging Biometrics Ltd (LSE:IBAI, OTCQB:IQAIF) has bought 86% of Kirkstall, a Sheffield firm developing lab systems that mimic how organs interact in the body. The £170,000 deal includes a convertible loan and a small cash payment to acquire remaining shares.
