How to Schedule a Short Film

A big part of an Assistant Director’s responsibility (or AD for short) is to schedule the shoot. This involves looking at all the elements of each scene/shot and deciding what order they should be shot in because productions rarely shoot in chronological order. Today I’m going to show you how I schedule a shoot and some of the things I think about when deciding what order to shoot in as an AD.   Of course, I could go into a lot more detail about how to schedule a shoot, so let me know in the comments below if you have any questions!
