Soft matcha cookies with a sweet strawberry cream cheese filling ♡ This recipe makes 10 cookies ♡ Strawberry Cheesecake Filling 8oz softened cream cheese 1/3 cup strawberry jam (I used Smuckers) 1 tbsp sugar (you can add more or less) ♡ Place 10 tbsp dollops onto a plate with parchment paper. Freeze while making the cookie dough. Cookies 1/2 cup (110g) melted butter (either salted or unsalted) 1 cup (200g) sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 and 2/3 cup (200g) all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp matcha powder (I used ceremonial grade matcha powder- you can use culinary grade matcha but the colour might be different ♡) ♡ Bake 6 cookies at a time for 12 minutes at 355F (180C) I didn't chill the cookie dough but the recipe below calls to chill!
