I also wanted to delete the dod at the same time. In this video I cover how to change the oil in your gmc yukon denali 6.2L V8. This process will be the same in a 5.3L V8 Chevy tahoe, chevy silverado, gmc sierra and gmc yukon. I also show you how to use hp tuners to delete or remove dod or displacement on demand. I am not fan of the active fuel management in the gm line up. Removing the active fuel management or dod generally will prolong the life of the lifters and engine. I think the dod delete should be one of the first things you do on a Tahoe or Denali. Both the oil change and the dod delete are easy to do and hopefully this video helps you complete these projects.
