Looking for a cheap way to stay fit at home with limited space? Here's my build video for a Fold Out Squat Rack. Materials cost me $136, a fraction of the cost of factory made racks. Not pictured is how much weight this holds (See two month update). ** Two Month Update -    • Fold Out Squat Rack Update   ** One Month Update - I coated the rack with an outdoor furniture finish to protect it from slamming the bar against it. I follow power lifting style workouts (Squat 320, Bench 225, DL 360) but only have 300lbs of weights. The rack is holding together just fine. At 6:20, you'll notice quite a bit of wiggle even with the stop blocks underneath the 4x4 posts. I have since used other scraps to make feet that fit a tighter. This amount of wiggle means the rack isn't really using the feet like it should. This is only one way to build this contraption.
