The setting is gorgeous, the trees and ground are laden with a thick, fresh blanket of snow. It's knee deep to the moose, Better than that for us. The going is much easier for him. He grunts and wags but there is nothing around other than us at the time. We did not call him in, so he shouldn't be looking to pick a fight with us. He raked but there were no takers. We watched while he decided what to do next. He finally chose to leave and shortly after he did, there was a snow slide like a mini avalanche that raced down the mountain above us. The tree line stopped it. Pretty cool!
