Ben's also added the info below: Venue: Sumet-Bernet Sound Studios, Dallas, Texas Date: June 23, 1972 Format: 16mm film, silent b/w + secondary audio These brief clips of the famous (or infamous depending on your tolerance) 'Dallas Rehearsals' appear in Episodes 2 and 6 of the Apple TV docu-series '1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything'. This was almost certainly shot by Robert Frank for potential inclusion in his 'CS Blues' documentary. There was no native audio to these clips in the two episodes, so I used one of the jams ("Whip's Crack") from the circulating 'Dallas Rehearsal' sets. Three interesting things to note in these brief clips - Mick Taylor is on drums in the final shot, Bobby Keys is shown playing guitar, and Keith is playing a Reverse Gibson Firebird, a model that he last used on stage in 1966. Whether or not this was one of his Firebirds or just something he borrowed is uncertain, but at any rate he didn't appear to use it on stage at any dates during the 72 tour.
