2025 Abbot's Appreciation Mass & Brunch Highlights

On February 16, 2025, members of the Abbot’s Circle and Legacy Society came to Mount Angel Abbey for our annual Abbot’s Appreciation Mass & Brunch. Other attendees included monks, seminarians, faculty and staff. After Mass in the Abbey church, attendees gathered in the Damian Center for socializing and a brunch. Abbot Jeremy Driscoll, OSB, greeted guests and shared exciting happenings at Mount Angel, including a renovation to the Seminary’s St. Joseph Chapel and looking ahead to a Master Plan in anticipation of the Abbey’s 150th anniversary in 2032. Victor Mitre, Executive Director of Development, shared his gratitude and appreciation for members of the Abbot’s Circle and Legacy Society. Dr. Myrna Keough, seminarians Alan Hoetker (Diocese of Orange) and Andrew Seeber (Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon), and Fr. Charles Gonzalez, OSB, performed Matt Maher’s "Because He Lives."
