Ultradyne is jumping into the market both feet first. The C4 AR15 sights and Apollo muzzle brake combine precise, computer-aided design with extreme attention to detail in production. Let's talk about the last item first: the Ultradyne Apollo muzzle brake. Long and narrow, it looks a bit different than others on the market. Its performance is what sets it apart, though. The rearward-raked louvers expel gasses backward at roughly a 45-degree angle, and the result is that the recoiling rifle barely moves. That includes both the .223 AR15 we tested and the .308 AR10. The AR10 was the real standout, recoiling less than a .223 would. Watch the footage and see for yourself. The Ultradyne C4 sights include the largest array of bells and whistles I've ever seen on a set of sights. The immediately noticeable feature is the globe-shaped front sight post, drilled all the way through to create a front peep sight. Instead of covering your target, you see it. That front post is elevation-adjustable without needing any tools. Just push the front hood down and turn the post by hand. You can also adjust windage on the front sight. That way you can set your perfect zero and still adjust the rear sight for wind if you want. Speaking of the rear sight, the typical peep aperture can be adjusted to account for drop at ranges from 200 to 600 yards via a cam attached to the adjustment knob. That makes the C4 set useful for precise work in a variety of situations. Even with all the adjustable parts, the sights fold down as flat as any other quick-deploy set on the market. Flat enough that you can run a scope without the ocular bell knocking into the rear sight. I'll produce a full review of both products soon!
