Join me in making the newest plant type of my plant crochet series: the teardrop plant! Materials, stitch terms, and pattern are listed here in the description for your crochet convenience :) Materials: same weight yarn in 3 colors for soil, leaves, and basket (I personally like the look of a weight 4 yarn) + a corresponding crochet hook (I like H / 5 MM) polyfil for stuffing your plant tapestry needle stitch marker Stitch Terms (USA): ch: chain sc: single crochet dc: double crochet slst: slip stitch st: stitch mr: magic ring Pattern: R1: ch 2, working into 2nd ch from hook make 2 sc, 2dc, 3 tr (mark the 2nd tr), 2 dc, 2 sc, slst to join R2: 3 sc, inc twice, sc, ch 1, slst, inc twice, 3 sc. slst on top of previous slst. chain however many you'd like to space apart your leaves; I prefer 11 chains.
