Written, Arranged and Mixed by DVNA aka Andrea Pilloni Released by: Drummond Records Release / Catalogue number: DMD023 Release date: 09.30.2019 Genre: Dark Ambient Sub: Electronica, Techno Mastered at 1MIX2 Studio by Nicola "djT The Thief" Rigoni with Moonshiner 3 System Sorgà - Verona, Italy Cover Art: Andrea Pilloni e Alarice Collage Made in the EU 2019 all rights reserved Concept: “An enchanted valley torn from the mountains and prisoner of rocks sculpted by the wind and the sea. A magical and remote place where a week lasts nine days and one day lasts twenty-eight hours. No more progress, no more evolution: it is said that unsuspecting visitors have been possessed by the spirit of the valley and have never returned to civilization. That's where we're headed, where Sardinia ends.” About The Moon Valley EP: In its authentic form, The Moon Valley pivots around a quasi-unvaried long rhythmical structure to accommodate moderate developments. These, which could also be considered as microvariations, present evident tribal and club elements that increase their intensity in a slow and ostinato progression. The two ingredients also find a more focused interest and expansion in the following two bespoke tracks. Both Kevin Follet and Osvil D denature most of the above in their two remixes. Maintaining an extremely limited amount of the original elements, they prefer to meticulously deviate towards sharp and aggressive rearrangements, elaborating pounding rhythms and manipulating sour sounds, creating, in fact, two independent tracks. Eric Shans’ rework bypasses the tribal elements as a whole producing, instead, a discotesque oriented piece. Adding touches of eighties throughout the duration of the piece, it also offers dreamlike sounds and digressions. www.drummondrecords.com
