I was preparing my wall for installing the first of two 4x4" fence posts when I realised it would prevent me from fixing my clay drain top cover which has been cracked for many years. I had recently been under my house to run some cat 6 cable and noticed a bit of a puddle in the corner near to this drain so feel like it might be an idea to tackle fixing this drain before I install my new DIY gates. This will be the first of two videos since its really the problem without the solution. I hope that my fix might help others out there to attempt a tidy replacement of their own old clay drain gullies without the need to dig done to replace it all in plastic when only the top is cracked.
