The collection, of which we have recorded four movements, was written at breakneck speed in April 1894, and he conceded that its principal purpose was “to balance the books”. This footage is from Septura's recording sessions, and features the final movement, Slava!, as it builds towards an inextinguishably triumphant C major at its epic climax.
