We then see him lifting weights in a gym as commentator says "although he's only 18, Mike is showing remarkable promise in both spheres". Also at work with weights in the gym is Mike's trainer, Al Murray, the National Coach to the British Amateur Weightlifting Association. Al is seen instructing athlete Brian Hewson; International Shot putter Ann Ducking lifts weights as she lies on a bench. More shots of Mike, this time taking some deep breaths before lifting a bar carrying 3151 lbs, under Al's supervision.
