अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर दिल्ली के कर्तव्य पथ पर भव्य Shakti Walk का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें देश के अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों से आई करीब 3000 महिलाओं ने भाग लिया। महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य महिलाओं के नेतृत्व, उनकी उपलब्धियों और देश के विकास में उनकी अहम भूमिका को सम्मान देना था। इस खास मौके पर दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री Rekha Gupta भी कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुईं और महिलाओं के संघर्ष, साहस और योगदान को सराहा। कर्तव्य पथ इस आयोजन के दौरान नारी शक्ति के प्रतीक ‘शक्ति पथ’ के रूप में दिखाई दिया। On the occasion of International Women's Day, a grand Shakti Walk was organised on Kartavya Path in Delhi, in which around 3000 women from different parts of the country participated. Organised by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the objective of this event was to honour the leadership of women, their achievements and their important role in the development of the country. On this special occasion, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also attended the event and praised the struggle, courage and contribution of women.
