(19 Aug 2025) Day 3 of our 3-day Lake Toba Cycling Tour. We were initially planned to do a round Samosir island ride, but due to road closure because of landslide, we switched to this course. This is a 125km ride back to mainland via the Aek Tano Ponggol bridge and then climb to Sibea Bea to visit the world's largest statue of Jesus. As it was only opened in 2024, the roads there are beautiful. With the help of our local guide, we managed to capture beautiful drone shots of us riding down and climb up the 8 bends at Sibea Bea. Following that, we rode to our scenic lunch point at Bukit Burung. The journey there was already so scenic that a few of us stopped just to take photos.
