Quick and Easy dinner Idea Episode 2 Serves: 2 Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 25 minutes INGREDIENTS 5 chicken drumsticks (or preferred chicken pieces) 3 tablespoons pre-made jerk seasoning 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning (for the rice) 1 tablespoon all-purpose seasoning 1 chicken bouillon cube 1 cups jasmine rice, rinsed 1½ cups water (or according to rice package instructions) 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or Instructions ✨ Clean and pat dry the chicken. Season with 3 tablespoons of jerk seasoning, making sure each piece is well coated. ✨ Cover and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. For deeper flavor, marinate overnight if possible. ✨ Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes on each side. Turn occasionally until the chicken is browned and fully cooked through. ✨ Remove the chicken from the pot and place it in a clean bowl. Leave the flavorful oil and drippings in the pot. ✨ Add the rinsed jasmine rice to the same pot. Stir in 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning, the bouillon cube, and the all-purpose seasoning. Mix well so the rice absorbs the flavors. ✨ Pour in 1½ cups of water (or the amount recommended on your rice package). Cover and cook over medium-low heat. ✨ Once your rice is tully cooked, place the chicken back into the pot on top of the rice.
