There were a couple stains here and there in which Andy went to work and applied some spot treatments to try to get them out. We start with vacuuming w/ the Oreck XL and collect some crunchy goodness and then we end with using the Rotovac Powerwand. Info on why the Rotovac works really well: The Rotovac Powerwand works really well bcuz it takes the place of the manual scrub wand for extraction carpet cleaning. It's so cool because it combines rotary agitation with hot water extraction, the Rotovac cleans better, leaves the carpet drier and is much easier to use than a wand. What's the big deal: It has Rotary Vacuum Heads to thoroughly clean the carpet from all directions with hundreds of multi-directional cleaning passes. The Rotovacs' motors supply all the cleaning gusto for you. Six vacuum slots and six spray jets rotate at 250 rpm to produce 1500 multi-directional cleaning passes per minute. (Try doing that with a manual wand!) And the Rotovac Powerwand is patented that operates with one hand like an upright vacuum cleaner. There is never any need to bear down and scrub like a manual wand. The Rotovac has dual high torque motors to supply all the cleaning muscle for you. The rotary vacuum heads thoroughly clean the carpet from all directions with hundreds of cleaning passes rather than just back and forth a few times like a manual wand. After doing all that we can do I think the carpets look waay better than it did before.
