Crowds gathered at Nathan Tufts Park in Somerville, Massachusetts on March 26, to protest the arrest and detention of Tufts University Ph.D student Rumeysa Ozturk. Ozturk, who is originally from Turkey, was ambushed by ICE agents on a street in Boston on March 25 after the Trump administration “terminated” her student visa over her alleged “activities in support of Hamas,” the Department of Homeland Security said.
