✨ Looking to better manage your students iPads? Check out JAMF teacher, and see if it solves some of the problems you’re seeing in your classroom. Jamf Teacher is a new iPad management tool available to Elkhart staff (self-service). It provides additional controls for managing student iPads during the school day. It is similar to Apple Classroom in that you can send materials, open apps, and lock iPads, but it has several important differences: → Management is done through wifi. Instead of relying on Bluetooth, Jamf Teacher uses wifi to set and remove restrictions. This provides more reliable management for the teacher. → Teachers can pre-set restrictions. Using Lessons, teachers can set permissions for the iPad ahead of time for minimizing transitions. → Allow specific apps or websites. With Jamf Teacher, you can allow specific apps, which removes everything else. You can do the same for websites if you're working in Safari, only allowing certain websites to be visited. ✨ Elkhart teachers, need a bit more support?
