Everything we do at work is a process. Even creative activities involve many processes. While the final firing of the synapses that look like inspiration might be an exception, all of the actions that got us to that point are processes. How we open and organize our computers is a process. Getting information about the color scheme for graphic design is a process. How we take notes, how we communicate information, and how we use the tools to turn our inspiration into reality are all processes. And the key point of this video is that every process can be improved. Once we overcome the mental hurdle that what we are doing is actually a process that can be documented and shared, the concept of improving those processes becomes much more concrete. And that is the bedrock of a continuous improvement culture.
