Was trying to visit a new slider place in Miami Gardens, but it was closed. Plan B: go to have a Jamaican patty “sandwich” nearby at one of my favorite Jamaican bakeries: Taste Rite Bakery 18400 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33169 There are also several other locations in Broward. Keep in mind Jamaican bakeries do not keep normal bakery hours. Taste Rite doesn’t open until 10 AM. A beef patty and coco bread come out to about $2.80. Bring cash! I am pretty shady about Jamaicans and other Anglo Caribbeans in this video. These views reflect my experiences in South Florida and my desire for you all to avoid any unpleasant situations. Nevertheless, never forget that people are individuals if they choose to be, and each individual has the freedom to perpetuate negative stereotypes or break free from them. As for my comments on Jamaican cuisine, these are solely my opinions based on years of sampling different Jamaican foods...and opinions can and do change.
