High up in the Slovenian Alps, in the legendary land of the Ibex, we set out on a unique marmot hunt. Staying in a perfectly kept old mountain cabin once used by Tito’s, the setting couldn’t have been more authentic. The next morning, we climbed nearly 1,500 meters of elevation gain, passing groups of ibex and chamois as the clouds rolled in. Waiting for a small shooting window above the fog, patience finally paid off — and we managed to take two marmots in one unforgettable alpine adventure.
