Dr. Priya Kumar is an assistant professor at Pennsylvania State University’s College of Information Sciences and Technology, where she studies how we as society think, talk, study, and learn about data privacy, especially in relation to children. She holds a PhD from the University of Maryland's College of Information Studies and an M.S. from the University of Michigan School of Information. Her research has been featured in media outlets including the New York Times, NPR, NBC, CNN, and Slate.
