Our Kids Swam With Wild Sea Lions in La Paz Mexico

Swimming With Sea Lions in La Paz, Baja California | Growing By Going One of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve had as a family — swimming with wild sea lions in the waters off La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Our kids (6 and 4 years old) suited up, jumped into the ocean, and came face to face with some of the most playful animals in the sea. The sea lion colony near Isla Espíritu Santo is famous for its curious pups that love to swim around divers and snorkelers. We went out with La Paz Explorers, an amazing local outfit that took us to the sea lion colony and guided the experience. If you’re visiting La Paz and want to see wildlife like this up close, we highly recommend them.
