Welcome back Chevra, In today's shiur, we are blessed to have Rabbi Moshe Chaim break down the most important aspects of the Jewish marriage under the chuppah (wedding canopy). What is the point of marriage? Family purity? Privacy? Why do all of these things seemingly go against the grain of society in its current state? Now more than ever, people are opting to adopt dogs as opposed to getting married and having kids? People want to put everything online, constantly updating their status and letting the world know what they just ate for lunch. By the looks of it, there is no such thing as privacy, intimacy, purity, sensitivity, or commitment any more. Every single media outlet is pushing against all of these critical factors which contribute to a healthy life and healthy relationships. Maybe it's just me but isn't it crazy how the Halachas and instructions found in the Torah actually are keeping us on track to being our best selves.
